Kurt joined GFN in May 2021 to support GFN’s member food banks and incubator cohorts. He brings nearly 40 years of experience in manufacturing and packaging operations, demand and supply planning, food safety, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining GFN, Kurt served as Senior Director of Business Operations and Vice President for Operations for major food manufacturing companies such as ConAgra, Treehouse Foods, and former Kraft Foods units. Most recently, Kurt spent four years at the Northern Illinois Food Bank as the Director of Continuous Improvement, where he was responsible for compliance and capacity-building projects.
